29th Hardwick Hall 6 Mile Road Race

Known simply as ‘The Hardwick Run’ by locals, the event has an exciting atmosphere, with a touch of theatre - with the tradition of the lighting of  Bess of Hardwick Beacons by the Mystery Runner  whose identity is revealed below.

Well supported by the locals ,competitors receive encouragement at key points during the race.

Entertainment is provided for spectators, making this a fun and family friendly event, - open to competitors of all abilities, but also providing a serious run for committed runners, with timed results over a UKA measured course.

This year, live music is provided by  a talented young artist, Chloe Gadd, pictured below.

Spectators will also be treated to a splash of colour and dance provided by the Millerettes - Cheerleaders for Rotherham FC

26 Trophies, and a medal for every competitor!
